The owner of the land has been accused of breaking down and catching fish in the land based on the demand of lease for one month.<\/p>\n
The incident took place at Kamalapur Mauza of Chandkhali Union of the upazila around noon on Friday (September 5).<\/p>\n
According to the complaint of the victim Sharifa Khatun, Hafizur Rahman Chunnu Molya, son of deceased Aziz Molla of Mokhali village of the upazila, took the lease of 34 thousand taka for a month through the public post of the land office.<\/p>\n
It is said in the complaint that even after the end of the boundary and mating of the lease, they continued to maintain the Khas Ada. At one point, Hafizur Rahman demanded money from the land owners, claiming that Khas land was also kept in the fishing enclosure.<\/p>\n
Sharifa Khatun alleged that when Hafizur Rahman refused to pay, Hafizur Rahman's people entered their chandeli enclosures with weapons of the country, he alleged that he was carrying out the nets and houses and vandalizing the houses and fishing from the enclosure.<\/p>\n
He also alleged that his father Abdul Khalek Sana was beaten up when he tried to stop him, and he was given first aid locally.<\/p>\n
Sharifa Khatun claims that the incident of vandalism and fishing has caused a financial loss of two lakh rupees.<\/p>\n
However, Hafizur Rahman denied the allegations, he claimed, under the leadership of Sharifa Khatun, that their yard was vandalized.<\/p>\n
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Paikgacha police station in this poison Sheikh Aotal Kabir said that two statements have been found on both sides. The issue will be investigated and legal action will be taken.<\/p>\n
