On the occasion of the celebration of next July People's Uprising Day-2026, a preparatory meeting was held at 11 am on Tuesday (July 28) at the initiative of Rathapur Upazila Administration of Laxmipur.
\nThe meeting was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Mehedi Hasan Kaushar, who attended the meeting, including the parents of July Shaheed Fatez, Ratpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nizam Uddin Bhui, Upazila BNP General Secretary Shafiqul Alam Almas, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mohammad Abul Kasem, NCP leaders, leaders of the movement, journalists, and social and professional organizations.
\nThe speakers said that the mass uprising is an important aspect of the nation's national history. The speakers also mentioned that their sacrifice is a source of inspiration for the people who have struggled and sacrificed their desire to establish a society that has struggled and sacrificed a society without discrimination.
\nThe program has been decided to observe the meeting in a dignified, peaceful and public manner.
