The official journey of the newly formed Chandraganj upazila of Laxmipur district has started on Friday (24 July 2026) at 4 pm on Friday (24 July 2026) at 4 pm in the building adjacent to Begum Ajifa High School in Charchamita area, this program was inaugurated by the inauguration of the Chandraganj Upazila Parishad's unstable office.
\nMd Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie, Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and Member of Parliament (MP) of Laxmipur-3 Constituency Md. Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie was present as the chief guest at the inaugural function.
\nLaxmipur-2 Constituency Member of Parliament Md Abul Khair Bhuitha, Laxmipur District Superintendent of Police Md Abu Tarek and Laxmipur District Council Administrator Sahab Uddin were present as Chandraganj Upazila Executive Officer Nilufa Itasmin Nipa.
\nIn the speech of the chief guest, Minister Md Shahiduddin Chowdhury said that establishing Chandraganj as an upazila is a long-standing hope for the people of the region. The launch of the new upazila will not require the general public to go to distant places to avail government services. Education, health, agriculture, land and other administrative services are now easier and faster. It will be possible to reach the doorsteps of the people, he sought the cooperation of all in the overall development of the new upazila and urged the administration to participate in the development of the government activities as well as the active participation of the local people.<\/p>\n
In the president's speech, Deputy Commissioner SM Mehedi Hasan said that all kinds of initiatives have been taken to manage the administrative activities of the newly formed Chandraganj Upazila in an orderly manner. Public service activities will be started from the tangible office and other administrative facilities will be ensured in the next stage and other administrative facilities will be ensured. He will provide the people with transparent, accountable and public-friendly administrative services. He expressed his commitment.<\/p>\n
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nilufa Itasmin Nipa said, this journey of administrative activities of Chandraganj Upazila is an important milestone for the local people. The upazila administration will take care of the government service and take the co-operation with all the government offices, public representatives and common people.
