\u2018The society should come forward to restore the confidence of the disabled.\u2019 On Wednesday (March 18), Rachapur Upazila Executive Officer Mehdi Hasan Kaushar said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the cash distribution ceremony of Goat, Wheel Chatter and Medical Support among the disabled people in Rathapur of Lakshmipur.<\/p>\n
He also said that it is possible to develop a sustainable and safe livelihood for this community only through the collective initiative to improve the development of disabled and senior people.<\/p>\n
President of Banik Samiti and advisor of the organization Saiful Islam Murad, Advocate Abul Khater, former councilor Mahin Bhuita, life member of the organization Rakib Pattori and political personality Sohag Miji were present as special guests in the event.<\/p>\n
Saiful Islam Rinku, executive director of the organization, said that the organization has been conducting various activities including physiotherapy healthcare, health camp, distribution of materials, livelihood support, distribution of goats, celebration of awareness and court meetings.<\/p>\n
After the discussion, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer visited the therapy center of the organization, followed by a goat among 6 disabled people, 1 wheelchatter and 1 person in cash financial assistance for medical treatment.<\/p>\n
