In Rakhtpur of Lakshmipur, various shopkeepers have been fined a total of 54 thousand rupees by conducting raids by the mobile court on the charge of encroaching on footpaths, storing food in unsanitary environment and selling products at high prices.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday (March 10), the operation was conducted in Sakt adjacent to the upazila city police station. In the operation, it was seen that the movement of pedestrians was being disrupted by occupying the footpaths of the shops.<\/p>\n
There is also a complaint of storing food in an unsanitary environment in a hotel and determining the price of additional profit in a cup shop.
\nIn these crimes, a total fine of 54,000 taka was imposed from the shopkeepers and the occupied footpaths were immediately released from the concerned shopkeepers. The operation was conducted by the Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Nigar Sultana, the assistant director of Rakpur Consumer Protection Directorate of Razpur Police and members of Rachapur Municipality.<\/p>\n
According to the mobile court sources, if someone occupyes the sidewalk and runs a shop or sells goods at an additional price, strict measures will be taken as per the rules, it will be said that such operations will continue in the public interest.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
