On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the social organization Rachpur Union Forum distributed food items among the people of Laxmipur's Rathapur in Rakht and the lower countries. On Monday (March 9) morning, the food distribution program was organized at the Eidgah ground of Rachapur New Market.<\/p>\n
The general secretary of Razpur Unnatan Forum, Bir Muktijoddha Gazi Amin Ullya, General Secretary of Raktipur Unnatan Forum, Maulana Nazmul Huda, Vice President of District Lawyers Association, Advocate Abdul Majid Misthaji, former Upazila Chetner Mani, Fazlul Karim, and Eminent Industrialist Huma were present at the meeting of human rights activist MA Rahim.<\/p>\n
Speakers at the event said that Rashpur Unnatan Forum is a non-political, non-profit and voluntary organization that is working towards the overall development of Rakpur Upazila, especially modern agriculture, fisheries and livestock rearing, education and healthcare, prevention of drug and child marriage, enhancing the tolerance of the environment and water and through technical training, transforming the youth into skilled people and the life of the marginal community through various projects.<\/p>\n
The speakers also said that one of the goals of Rathapur Unnat Forum is to stand next to the helpless people of the society and build a humane society through mutual cooperation and harmony.<\/p>\n
In the event, various daily food items including rice, pulses, oil were distributed among the helpless and poor families of the area.<\/p>\n
The general secretary of the organization, Bir Muktijoddha Advocate Gazi Amin Ullya said that the cooperation of people from different classes and professions of the society will continue in the future as well.<\/p>\n
