Journalist Torture Prevention Cell of Bangladesh Committee of Bangladesh in Kamalnagar<\/p>\n

A 15-member committee of Kamalnagar Upazila Branch of Journalist Torture Prevention Cell Bangladesh has been formed to protect the professional rights of journalists and to create organized resistance against torture, threats and violence during their responsibilities.
\nOn the recommendation of Lakshmipur District Committee President AKM Mahmud Ritaz and General Secretary Zakir H Suman, the committee will approve the committee through a notification on the designated pad of the organization on December 22 (Thursday).<\/p>\n
It was signed by the chairman and cell head of the organization Md. Khatarul Alam Rafiq and director (admin and admin) Khatarul Islam Al Amin.

\ngeneral Kabir Hossain Rakib (Kamalnagar correspondent of Dainik Bangla Bazar newspaper) has won the title as the editor.<\/p>\n

\nOffice Secretary: Md Makchudur Rahman (Dainik Bhorer Postal Representative).
\npublicity Editor: Md Hasan Howladar (Dainik Ajker Lakshmipur Representative).
\nExecutive Members: Reena Begum (Veer Chittagong TV Representative) and Zahid Hasan (Dainik Crime Suppression Representative).
\nAccording to the notification of the central office of the organization, this approved committee will conduct its activities for one year from 13 December 2025 to 16 December 2026.<\/p>\n
The newly formed committee leaders said that journalists are being subjected to torture and harassment in various ways to fulfill their professional rights. The Journalist Torture Prevention Cell Bangladesh is playing an effective role in uniting resistance against these others. In the future, Kamalnagar Upazila will be active in the protection and dignity of journalists - InshaAllah.
