Md. Abdul Azim, Chandraganj (Laxmipur) Correspondent- Chandraganj Union of Chandraganj Union of Laxmipur has completed the council elections in which the post of President Md. Humaun Kabir and Tofazzal Hossain Sabuj were elected as General Secretary.<\/p>\n
The polling was held at the local Pratapganj High School Center on Friday (June 27) from 10 am to 1 pm. Hafizur Rahman and Chandraganj Thana BNP convener M. Bellal Hossain, Assistant Presiding was Abdul Hannan Bhui, Senior Vice President of the District Labor Party.<\/p>\n
A total of 6 contestants for the post of president, including Md. Humaun Kabir Chethar Pratik Nit has been elected president by getting 174 votes. His closest rival Mohammad Solaiman Deotal Ghay Pratik Nitek Nitek Nitek got 101 votes.<\/p>\n
general Tofazzal Hossain Sabuj has been elected as editor by 322 votes. His only rival is Md. Monir Hossain got 126 votes.<\/p>\n
Also the post of organizing secretary. Abul Kashem was elected by the bus symbol by 189 votes. His closest rival Md. Imam Hussain Tipu got 140 votes. In the election, 455 out of a total of 459 voters, 450 voted their right to vote, returning officer Ed. Md Hafizur Rahman said that the polling process has been completed through fair and impartial elections, which will continue the practice of democracy within the party.<\/p>\n
