There is no zebra crossing, no traffic signals, and the footover bridge is far away.<\/p>\n<p>Locals said, \u201cThere is a rush of school and office going people in the morning and afternoon. Many children, old people or women pedestrians cannot understand the speed of the village, which suddenly happens in the small town.\u201d Now the power of autorickshaws and easybikes is in the small town.<\/p>\n<p>Mahinur Akhter, a student of Laxmipur Government College, said, \u201cEvery day on the way to college, life will be dragged several times. If you are a little careless, you can get into a accident. But no one concerned seems to be thinking about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A member of the traffic police said, \u201cWe try to help signal in the morning and afternoon, but it is not enough for so many people. There is no alternative to footover bridge as a permanent solution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The population and traffic pressures are also stagnant, and the population of Lakshmipur city is more than 100,000, with an estimated 1500-2000 vehicles entering the city every day, including buses, trucks, CNG, autorickshaws and private cars, but there are no effective measures for pedestrians to move safe.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We have been demanding the construction of footover bridges by the district administration and the municipality many times.
