Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus says, in a fallow land of dictatorship We have to be careful now to be careful as we were in a war-like situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

International Women's Day started with women's economic and political struggle. In Bangladesh, women have been struggling for their rightful rights for ages. From Tevaga to anti-British movement, language movement, Bengali women have played an active role in the liberation war.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018We have forgotten many brave women in history, we don't know about their contributions. But we will never let the girls\u2019 leadership and sacrifice of July be forgotten.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chief adviser said that women who participated in the July uprising have told me about their struggles and hopes at various times, which we dream of building a new Bangladesh, which will not be possible without women's participation and ensuring their rights, and men should work together as co-fighters to establish this right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Urging men to come forward in cooperation with women to establish a fair place in the society, he said, \u2018We want to rebuild our expected family in a new Bangladesh which is the family of all parents, brothers and sisters, the family of the guaranteed and recognized rights of all the parents.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chief adviser also said, \u2018International Women's Day reminds us of the history of women's struggle anew, gives inspiration and courage. I call upon those who are working to establish women's rights in the society, no matter how many obstacles history has given us, we will fully use the opportunity. We will build a new Bangladesh.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
