A preparatory meeting was held to celebrate the Great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day in Rakhtpur, Lakshmipur.<\/div>\n

On Tuesday (February 17) morning in the conference room of the upazila parishad, the upazila executive officer (UNO) Md. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Emran Khan.<\/div>\n

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shahed Arman, Officer-in-charge (OC) Nizam Uddin Bhui of Upazila Health Complex, Resident Medical Officer of Upazila Health Complex Dr. Mamunur Rashid Palash, Upazila Secondary Academy Supervisor Main Uddin, Raatpur Press Club General Secretary MR Sumon and representatives of various political, social and educational institutions of the upazila.<\/div>\n

Also, the chairman of various union councils and heads of educational institutions were present in the meeting. It has been decided that a special discussion meeting, painting competition and cultural program will be organized in all educational institutions on February 1.<\/div>\n

Upazila Executive Officer. Emran Khan said, \u201cEkushey Februitari is our glory day. Therefore, all preparations will be made to celebrate the day with due dignity. We want to make this day a commemorative effort of all institutions and organizations.\u201d The guests present at the meeting highlighted the significance of Ekushey February and expressed their promise to work together to celebrate the day properly.
