The naval police rescued a painter named Billal Hossain (38) who was abducted for taking land in Rakhtpur of Lakshmipur.<\/p>\n

He was rescued from the cabin of a launch called \u2018Imam Hossain\u2019 at Chandpur Launch Ghat on Monday night. The incident was arrested and handed over to the court by Billal's Bhabhi.<\/p>\n

The arrested are Noore Alam (35), son of Muslim Mita of Denatatepur area of Ratapur Municipality, Afroza Begum (32), wife of Kamrul Islam Babu of Char Mohana village and Sabuj (35), son of Khorshed Alam of Sagardi village in Bamani Uni.<\/p>\n

According to the police, Billal's wife planned the abduction for the purpose of grabbing the land, and as part of the plan, he committed the abduction of Noor Alam in Dit.<\/p>\n

The abducted Billal's wife Munni Akhter said that on Monday morning, after the husband went to work like every day, he started to find out that he did not return in the afternoon. When the phone was switched off, he got worried. Later, Chandpur Naval Faani police station took the husband from the launch cabin. Report the rescue.<\/p>\n

He also said that the abductors took Billal to a microbus from Hadarganj area and after physically tortured him, he was signed to a land document, then the document was delivered to Sabuj, the deed of Ratpur, and then the kidnappers left for Dhaka.<\/p>\n
