The High Court has issued a ruling to find out why the innocence of the defendants to include the employment of the village police in the revenue sector should not be declared outside the legal authority and why the salary is not paid equal to the fourth class scale.<\/p>\n

The High Court bench of Justice Mainul Islam Chowdhury and Justice JBM Hasan issued a ruling on Tuesday (February 13) after hearing a writ petition filed by 70 village police.<\/p>\n

Within four weeks, 34 defendants including the local government, finance, public administration, home, law secretary, Inspector General of Police have been asked to respond to the rule.<\/p>\n

Lawyer Nawsher Ali Mollah, who was on behalf of the petitioners, was on behalf of the state, Motahar Hossain Saju.<\/p>\n

Later, Nausher Ali told reporters that on December 3 last year, 55 village policemen of different districts issued a ruling in the same way that the High Court issued a ruling in the same way that 70 village police and Dafadars from different districts of the country including Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Panchag, Jatapurhat, Gaibandha filed this writ petition.<\/p>\n
