The Department of Health has issued eight guidelines including the opening of the flood control room.<\/p>\n
According to a notification on Thursday (August 22), the recently flood-affected areas have been requested to comply with the following instructions.<\/p>\n
The instructions are:<\/p>\n
1. All civil surgeons and upazila health and family planning officers in flood affected areas should keep the control room open round the clock.<\/p>\n
2 .., with the first aid equipment, a medical team should be formed and prepared at the same time.<\/p>\n
3. In every flood affected area, every healthcare institution should have proper preparation for the treatment of potential health risks, snake bites, etc.<\/p>\n
4. In the hospitals in flood-affected areas, the equipment should be stored at a high place so that the equipment is not damaged.<\/p>\n
5. Ambulances should be prepared with emergency and essential medical supplies and first aid materials.<\/p>\n
6. All doctors, nurses and officers of the flood affected districts cannot leave the workplace without the permission of the Director (Health) of the Department.<\/p>\n
7. Civil Surgeons and Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers of the flood-affected areas have been requested to contact the Control Room of the Department of Health.<\/p>\n
8. Constant coordination and communication with the control room formed by the local administration and the disaster management department should be maintained.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
