In view of the increase in the price of Tejabi gold (ripe gold) in the local market, the price has been increased again in a span of ten days. The best quality or 22 carat one bhari (11.664 grams) gold has been increased by Tk 2,650 and the new price has been fixed.<\/h3>\n

The country's market has never been so expensive before gold, Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has said that the new price will be implemented from 7 pm on Thursday (April 18).<\/p>\n

The Bajus Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee has decided to increase the price after meeting, and later this information was informed in a circular signed by the chairman of the committee, Masudur Rahman.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, the price of a good quality gold was set at Tk 117,573 from the same day on April 8. It broke all previous records and created a new record of the highest price of gold. Now a new record has been created by increasing the price in a span of 10 days.<\/p>\n

The release said the price of Tejabi gold has increased in the local market, so Bangladesh Jewelery Association has set new prices for gold, which will be effective from 7 pm on Thursday.<\/p>\n

According to the new price, the price of one load of gold of the best quality or 22 carats has been increased by Tk 2,650 to Tk 1 lakh 19 thousand 638. The price of one load of gold of 21 carat has been increased by Tk 1 thousand 994 to Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 202.<\/p>\n

The price of a gold load of 18 carats has been increased by Tk 1,656 to Tk 97,884. However, the price of a gold of the traditional method has been fixed at Tk 1,388 at Tk 78,802.<\/p>\n

The price of silver is unchanged. The price of a 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat silver price is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat silver price is 1 thousand 715 taka and the price of one bhori silver is fixed at 1 thousand 283 taka.<\/p>\n

Before this, on April 8, the price of a gold of the best quality or 22 carats increased by 1 thousand 749 taka by 1 thousand 749 taka, 21 carat gold price increased by 1 thousand 633 taka 1 thousand 633 taka, 18 carat one load of gold increased by 96 thousand 228 taka and the price of one bhori gold of the traditional method has increased the price of 1 thousand 225 taka to 80 thousand 190 taka.<\/p>\n

However, buyers will have to pay more than this to buy gold jewelery because gold jewelery is sold by adding 5 percent VAT on the price set by Bajus.
