Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Bangladesh Scouts is working to create honest, competent, efficient and ideal citizens through scouting as a co-curricular as well as conventional education.<\/p>\n
On the occasion of Bangladesh Scouts Day tomorrow, he said in a message on Sunday that our government's cooperation will continue to take the scouting.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister said that the greatest Bengali of all time, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman issued the Presidential Ordinance to Bangladesh Scouts on September 11, 1972. As a result of his inspiration and initiative, Bangladesh Scouts became the 105th country on June 1, 1974. The father of the nation played a key role in the expansion of Bangladesh Scouts and international reputation in the expansion of the nation.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Hasina said, following the footsteps of the Father of the Nation, the Awami League government is taking various initiatives and implementing various initiatives to develop and expand scouting. Through the ministry, \u2018Scouting expansion and construction of Scout Shatabdi Bhavan project\u2019 has already been completed in Bangladesh through the ministry. We are doing \u2018Rovar Scout Training Center, Lalmai Unnon Project\u2019 at a cost of Tk 48 crore 23 lakh \u2018Sylhet region and Moulvibazar District Scout Building Project\u2019 and Tk 48.53 million. In the development of this, I have already approved the project at a cost of Tk 48 crore 91 lakh.<\/p>\n
He said, 188 acres of land has been allocated for the construction of an Adventure Training Center for Rover Scouts in Chittagong. Also through the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, the \u2018Cub Scouting Expansion (Player 4th) project is being implemented in primary schools in the primary schools. I have given instructions for forming 2 scout teams in the institution and every student to get scout training.<\/p>\n
