Narsingdi District Police paid tribute to 10 policemen who died on January 15, 2011 in Shivpur, Narsingdi.<\/p>\n

On Monday (January 15) morning, Narsingdi District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman (PPM), Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Anirban Chowdhury, Additional Police Superintendent (Administration and Finance), S.M. Fazal-e-Khuda, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB), Shamsul Arefin, Additional Superintendent of Police Sadar Circle K,M, Shahidul Islam Sohag, Assistant Superintendent of Police Ratpura Circle Afsan-Al-Alam, Assistant Superintendent of Police Shibpur Circle Md. Meshbahuddin, Shibp\u00acur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Farid Uddin, Belabo Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azizur Rahman, Deputy Inspector (OC) of Binna Police Station (SI) and other members of the police station.<\/p>\n

\nActing Chairman Taapsee Rabeta, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahmudul Hasan Russell were also present.<\/p>\n

After laying the wreath, the souls of the dead policemen are prayed for forgiveness and prayers.<\/p>\n

It is noted that 10 patriotic policemen lost their lives in the tragic accident on January 15, 2011. On the way from Belab police station to attend the election briefing at Narsingdi District Police Lines, 10 policemen were killed on the spot in the head-on police pick-up collision with a police pick-up at a place called Dhaka-Sylhet Ghashirdi.<\/p>\n
