twelfth Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed some restrictions on the powers assigned to the notification of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on the occasion of the National Assembly elections.<\/h3>\n

This ban was issued in a circular signed by DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman on Thursday (January 4).<\/p>\n

It is said that the area under the jurisdiction of DMP has been banned from 6th January 6th January to 12:00 am on January 7.<\/p>\n

At the same time, a ban was imposed on the movement of motorcycles from 12 midnight on January 5 to January 8.<\/p>\n

This ban will be relaxable in the following cases:<\/strong>
\n1. Law enforcement, armed forces, administration and permitted observers.<\/p>\n

2. Vehicles engaged in emergency services and all types of vehicles carrying medicines, health-medical and similar work goods and newspapers.<\/p>\n

3. Relatives -Arga for relatives, vehicles used for traveling from the airport to their own residence or relatives with relatives (seeing tickets or similar evidence) and any vehicle for long-distance passengers or long-distance passengers.<\/p>\n

4. One for the candidate contesting the election, a gay (short-sized vehicles such as jeep, car, microbus etc.) for the election agent of the contesting candidate (subject to the appointment of proper documents\/contents) will be allowed subject to the approval of the returning officer and display of stickers.<\/p>\n

5. Journalists, observers or motorcycles used in any emergency work will be allowed to move subject to the approval of the Returning Officer.<\/p>\n
