Sheikh Hasina said, the Awami League government works as per the election promises. We have made unprecedented progress in every aspect of socio-economic development in the last 15 years by the three consecutive people's votes since the 2008 elections.<\/p>\n
He said, the economy of Bangladesh was also slowed down due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Ukrainian-Russia war and economic blockade and counter-blockade have caused trouble for innocent people all over the world. The Prime Minister said that the Awami League government has set a unique example of peaceful resolution of any crisis in the country through negotiations. We have exchanged enclaves with the neighboring country India and sheltered the population of 1.1 million Rohingyas who came to the village to protect themselves from the massacre in Miranma.<\/p>\n
He said, I have already declared 33 districts of the country free from landless-households. 100% of the people have come under the coverage of electricity facilities.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister said that on August 17, 2023, we launched a public pension for 100 million people in four categories. The Awami League government has been delivering free books to the students on the first day of the year since 2010. This book festival has also added a new dimension to the English New Year celebrations in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n
\u2018The \u2019Bangladesh Delta Plan-2100\u2018 has started the implementation of the digital Bangladesh, we are creating skilled human resources suitable for the fourth industrial revolution and strengthening the rural economy. He said that on March 7, 1973, according to the constitution, the first national parliamentary elections were held in independent Bangladesh and the first session was held on April 7. On April 6, 2023, the 22nd\/special session was held to mark the 50th anniversary of the Great Nation Parliament. In that session, our great leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was remembered with deep respect.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister said he had pulled the newly independent country from the ruins of the war empty-handed, and there was no reserve money in the bank, no currency notes, and he organized the nation's election with the aim of establishing a strong foundation of democracy.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Hasina said that the Awami League had achieved absolute equity in the first national elections, and Bangabandhu had adopted the first five-year plan from July 1, 1973 after the formation of the government.
