The World Bank will also provide a loan of $10.2 crore to the sustainable management project of the Yamuna River. The project will help to protect the banks of the Yamuna River and improve navigability. The World Bank will provide $300 million in gas distribution through the prepaid metering system to improve gas use efficiency and strengthen the use of natural gas. More than 1.2 ml of prepaid gas meters will be installed in Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions. The project will ensure the use of natural gas in prepaid gas meters and advanced monitoring systems will ensure the use of natural gas in the greenhouse gas emissions and reduce gas bills for household and industrial users.<\/p>\n

The World Bank will also give $200 million in the Urban Health, Nutrition and Population Development Project, which will also help to improve the treatment and prevention of common ailments including mosquito-borne diseases like dengue, which will help to improve the treatment of mosquitoes, medical waste and management of the project.<\/p>\n
