Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called for massive investment in South Africa's investors, especially ICT, infrastructure, textile and tourism, saying, \u2018I have a dream that is a dream of 17 crore people of Bangladesh, and that is to make a trillion-dollar economy and a fully developed smart nation by 2041.\u2019

He said, \u2018This is the same as we have proposed various opportunities in sectors like ICT, Electronics, Infrastructure, Textile, Tourism, Heavy Industry and Small Industry to know better Bangladesh and invest here in the future. Our government is committed to providing opportunities to conduct business beautifully.\u2019<\/p>\n

Bangladesh is ready to welcome the potential South African investors, he said, \u2018The various authorities of Bangladesh such as Bangladesh Investment Development Authority, Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority, Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority and Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission will provide all kinds of support to foreign investors.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Bangladesh is moving towards prosperity. We want you to take part in our journey. We are confident that your investment will dominate for success and that we are fully prepared for a sustainable partnership,\u2019 he said.\u2019<\/p>\n
