Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said that as a result of the overpublicity of foreign comments in the media of Bangladesh, they are amused by talking about the internal issues of the country.<\/p>\n

He said this in response to questions from reporters after the award ceremony at Sylhet Shilpakala Academy this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Foreign Ministers also commented that foreigners consider themselves emperors, so Momen also urged the media to take a role in boycotting commentators on the internal affairs of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

He further said that 40 people died in the recent panchayat elections in West Bengal. Not a single country has spoken. Who did what - immediately shouted, it was an interference with internal affairs. Which is not even close to the Geneva Convention.<\/p>\n

He also commented that no active ambassadors have been commenting in groups anywhere else in the world. When the police kill people, shoot them to death, no media out of Bangladesh asks them about these things.<\/p>\n
