Police have arrested Rajshahi District BNP convener Abu Saeed Chand who threatened to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.<\/p>\n
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Spokesperson and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rafiqul Alam confirmed the poison around 11 am on Thursday (May 25). <\/p>\n
When asked about this issue, the police officer said that the details will be given in the press conference at 12:50. Earlier on Friday (May 19), BNP's protest rally was held at Shibpur High School ground in Rajshahi.<\/p>\n
The poison was created among the leaders of the Aomi League after the poison. After that, on Sunday (May 21) night, the police station in the Anti-Terrorism Act of Rajshahi filed a case against the local Awatami League leader Abul Kalam Azad.<\/p>\n
Then on Monday (May 22) in the evening, under the Anti-Terrorism Act, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Kashitadanga Police Station Arman Hossain filed another case in the city, where 12 people including Abu Saeed Chand were accused and 3 people were arrested in this case.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday (May 23) another case was filed against BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Chand in Natore. Last on Wednesday (May 24), the joint general secretary of the district Awami League Sheikh Sohel Rana Tipu filed a defamation case in Rajba's court against five leaders of the party including Chand.<\/p>\n
