On Monday (May 15), he called on the closing and certificate distribution ceremony of the 127th, 128 and 129th law and administration training courses at the Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Academy in Shahbagh of the capital. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, \"Government employees, you have to devote your service to the people. The interests of the people should be sacrificed. From now on, we have to change the bureaucratic attitude of the past and consider it as the servant of the people.\"<\/p>\n
\"The common people should be able to get rid of drugs, militancy, terrorism and corruption, which destroys society, destroys families, and we need to pay special attention to that.<\/p>\n
He said, we want our young generation to be inspired by the love of the country and to move the country forward. <\/p>\n
The Prime Minister also advised to achieve austerity considering the economic situation as well as preventing corruption.<\/p>\n
\"Bangladesh is now recognized as the 35th economy in the world, with our poverty rate of 41 percent, we have managed to bring it down to 18.7 percent, at least 2 to 3 percent of us have to get down,\" Sheikh Hasina said. <\/p>\n
\"We have now brought the 25.9 percent rate of extreme poverty to 5.6 percent but we don't want a single person to be very poor in Bangladesh. We want to bring it to zero. So we will pay special attention to where there are still such people.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister said, \"We have brought a big change in Bangladesh today in terms of structural, food production, education, digital services, technology, and all aspects of the world. It should not be disrupted.\"<\/p>\n
Because I have a fear. (In the war-torn country) when everything was cut in Bangladesh, the father of the nation was going down the path of socio-economic development, even the price of the rice which was up to 10 taka, the price of the rice came down by 3 taka. Our growth increased to 9 parts, when people got back confidence, we will go ahead, that is the case of August 15.<\/p>\n
