In the holy month of Ramadan, the price of Liquidized petroleum gas (LPG). The price of 12 kg cylinders has been fixed at Tk 1,178 in the consumer level at Tk 1,178.<\/p>\n
Chairman of the commission Md. Nurul Amin announced the price at a press conference at the BERC office on Sunday (April 2) around 12 noon.<\/p>\n
BERC member Dr. was also present at the press conference. Muhammad Imamin Chowdhury, Dr. Md. Helal Uddin, Md. Kamruzzaman, Abul Khater Md. Aminur Rahman and others.<\/p>\n
According to the press conference, the price of private LPG retailer at the consumer level has been fixed at Tk 98.17 per kg, along with the price of private LPG supplied in liquid form at Tk 94.94 per kg or in reticulated method of gas in reticulated manner.<\/p>\n
The adjusted price will be applicable and effective on April 2, 2023 at 6 pm and will remain in force until further orders, but the price of the ERL\/RPGCL level of the government LPG has remained unchanged and the price of the government LPG will remain unchanged, the price of the government LPG will remain unchanged, said BERC Chairman Md.<\/p>\n
Earlier, BERC had fixed the price of 12 kg cylinder at 76 taka at a consumer level at Tk 1,422. Whereas last February, the price of 12 kg cylinder was fixed at Tk 266 or Tk 1,498. Before that, the price of 12 kg LPG cylinder was fixed at Tk 1,232 in January.<\/p>\n
In the past, the price of 12 kg cylinder was Tk 1,297 in the previous month (November) and the price of 12 kg LPG cylinder was fixed at Tk 1,250 to Tk 51, Tk 51 per 12 kg.<\/p>\n
The LPG rate was intimated by the companies until April 12, 2021. But on April 12, BERC announced the bid for the first time. It was said that the Saudi state company Aramco will be considered as the basis for determining the price of this import-dependent fuel.
