At least 19 people have been killed and at least 30 people have been injured in the Dhaka-bound Imad Paribahan bus at Kutubpur area of Shibchar upazila of Madaripur.<\/p>\n
The accident happened on Sunday (March 19) morning. 17 people died on the spot. Shibchar Highoe Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Naeem Md. Mofazzel Haque has come to know this information. <\/p>\n
Later, two more deaths were reported in Dhaka Medical College Hospital, around 11:00 am, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Masud of Dhaka Medical College Hospital confirmed the death of two people. <\/p>\n
According to local sources, a bus of Imad Paribahan from Khulna left Khulna on Sunday morning and went down to the Qutubpur area of Shibchar in Shibchar before Padma Bridge. <\/p>\n
The bodies of 14 passengers were recovered from the bus till 8 am and three others died after being taken to Shivchar hospital.<\/p>\n
The body has been kept in the Shibchar Upazila Health Complex, but the identity of the victims is still not available, but among those who were the victims, they were a second year student of the English Department of Dhaka University.
