Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to visit Qatar on March 4 to attend the fifth LDC conference, the conference will be held from 5 to 9 March. She will call for global cooperation in the transition of LDC.<\/p>\n
This will be the last LDC summit of Bangladesh as an LDC country, because by 2026, Bangladesh will pass from LDC.<\/p>\n
The Corona pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war have brought the world economy into a disaster, which has affected the LDCs and developing countries the most.<\/p>\n
It has emerged as a major obstacle for those countries to slow economic growth and achieve sustainable development goals, which will be the support of developed countries to continue the trade facilities that Bangladesh is now enjoying as LDCs after 2026.<\/p>\n
During the weekly briefing in the media, the Director General of the Public Diplomacy Branch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Seheli Sabreen, said that the Prime Minister will meet with Qatar's Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Chani and Prime Minister Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdul Aziz Al Chani.<\/p>\n
He may seek Qatar's assistance in fuel oil for fuel prices to rise due to the Russian-Ukraine war, and he will also meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres during the conference.<\/p>\n
