UP elections of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila in the fifth phase in the fifth phase in a very safe and festive atmosphere. <\/p>\n<p>A young man named Anonor Hossain was arrested by a mobile court at Dighuli High School Center in Sadar Upazila on Saturday around 9 am, and the youth was sentenced to 6 months in prison by the Executive Magistrate of the mobile court, Ragpur Upazila Land Officer Shamim Hossain.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, Sadar Upazila Land Officer and Executive Magistrate Samar Kanti Basar arrested 10 youths and fined 5 thousand taka on the charge of casting counterfeits in the polling station of the government primary school.<\/p>\n<p>The turnout at various polling stations in the morning was relatively low, but the turnout was slightly elusive as the daytime.<\/p>\n<p>In the 12 UP elections, 51 candidates are contesting for the post of Chairman, 416 for the post of general member and 86 candidates for the post of reserved women. 2 lakh 41 thousand 966 voters are applying their right to vote in 128 centers of these units. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in every center, the members of the law enforcement agencies have been deployed in every center to make the elections free, fair and impartial, while the striking force has been launched by the executive magistrate under the leadership of RAB, BGB and executive magistrates in each unit.
