One person was killed in the lightning strike in Meghna river in Narsingdi. The name of the deceased fisherman is Mikunj Das (44). <\/span><\/p>\n

A fisherman named Suman Das (24) went missing in the river Esmut in the river and went missing on Monday (August 1) in the afternoon of the incident of lightning in Meghna river in Hajipur area near Narsingdi district town. The deceased Mikunj Das (45) is the son of deceased Moti Lal Das of Hajipur Nagara of Narsingdi Sadar Upazila.<\/span><\/p>\n

The missing Suman Das is the son of Dhirai Chandra Das of the same area, Hajipur Unitn Parishad Chetnerman Yusuf Khan Pintu confirmed this information, UP Chessman and family members said that four fishermen including Mikunj Das of Hajipur area went fishing in the Meghna river every morning like every day.<\/span><\/p>\n

When suddenly heavy rain started in the afternoon, they tied the boat to a bamboo pole and stayed inside the boat. Suman Das went missing and three others were injured. Later, the locals rescued three injured and went to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital where the doctor on duty declared Mikunj Das dead and the other two were given first aid.<\/span><\/p>\n

To rescue the missing Suman Das, the diving team informed the team that Hajipur Uniton Parishad Chairman Yusuf Khan Pintu said that after the news, the locals rescued the three and went to the hospital. The concerned administration has been informed through 999 to rescue a missing person named Suman Das. Locals including relatives and locals also tried to rescue him in the Meghna river.
