Tarekul Alam, officer-in-charge of Kamalnagar food warehouse, has been accused of bribing a labor contractor named Khorshed Alam in front of the district food controller for not paying 50,000 taka for bribe in Lakshmipur. <\/span><\/p>\n

This incident of beating and bribing in front of the district food warehouse worker took place on Wednesday (July 6) at noon. <\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, when the shoor-scream was heard, another food inspector named Tarekul Alam and Farhad blocked the media comrades when the warehouse officer was taken from the district office. <\/span><\/p>\n

The victim of the insult is the contractor Khorshed Alam M\/s K Alam & Sons and the son of deceased Fazlul Haque of Durgapur village of Digli Union of Sadar Upazila.<\/span><\/p>\n

The labor contractor Khorshed Alam and his son Saiful Alam said that from 2017 to 2019, the contractor of the \u2018M\/s K Alam & Sons\u2019 contractor conducted the truck load in the food warehouse from 2017 to 2019. They deposited the order of 74 thousand rupees as a security deposit for the operation of the order.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although the letter was issued from the District Commissioner's office, they did not pay attention to the district food controller's room to ask for the security return.<\/span><\/p>\n

At one point, they threw the contractor out of the district food controller's room, when the media comrades came forward after hearing the noise, the official also misbehaved with them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, after asking about the bribe, the accused officer Tarekul Alam was called several times on the phone but he did not receive it. When asked about this, District Food Control Officer Mangkhya first avoided the incident saying that nothing happened.
