Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal announced the proposed budget presentation in the National Parliament on Thursday (June 9). This is the 23rd of the current government, the 51st of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

The budget has proposed to withdraw the duty on the production of agricultural machinery and equipment, which will reduce the prices of domestically produced agricultural machinery and equipment.<\/p>\n

Braille printing and ear listening aids
\nThe budget has proposed exemption of VAT on the printing of Braille, the purport of the visually impaired, while the finance minister has proposed to increase the duty on importing of the earliest for the hearing impaired and the importer of the battery used in the machine to 5 percent in the 25 percent reduction in the price of Braille printing and earliest learning.<\/p>\n
Meditation Products
\nThe proposed budget proposes to withdraw the existing tax on meditation services.<\/p>\n
