Rashed (26) was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Monday (May 23) around 12 noon, District and Datra Judge Court Judge Mohammad Rahibul Islam gave the verdict.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nRashed is the son of Atar Uddin Kazi Bajar Ali Hadar of Dakshin Ratpur Upazila of Rashedpur Upazila. The victim Seema Akter is the son of Khokon Chaital of Char Banshi village of Dakshin Char Banshi Unit of the same upazila.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">District Judge's Court Counselor (PP) Advocate Jasim Uddin confirmed the truth of the incident and said that the charge of murder of Section 302 has been proved, the court sentenced accused Rashed to life imprisonment and fined Tk 10,000 to one year of unpaid work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to court sources, Rashed's wife Seema Akhter Sumi had an argument with Rashed late on May 3, 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Same Samit was in her husband's house. When the father-in-law asked his younger sister to come to see her, she had a bad relationship with her husband and Seema pushed her husband.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At one point, Rashed was angry and killed Seema by strangling him.
