Akramuzzaman Arif <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Fistculating agent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The court sentenced eight people to life imprisonment for killing a young man named Feroz Ahmed Kajal (22) after being abducted 13 years ago in Kustitar Mirpur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Along with this, each of them has been fined 25 thousand rupees, and has been sentenced to one more year of rigorous imprisonment. The case has not been proved but the three accused have been acquitted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Judge Md. Tajul Islam of the Additional District and Sessions Judge Court of Kushtia gave the verdict on Thursday (March 24) afternoon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The convicts are - Masud, son of Moazzem Hossain of Kalikapur village of Mirpur upazila of Kustitar Mirpur upazila, Siddique son of Sher Ali of the same village, Masum Molla son of Noor Islam Molla of Barita village of the same upazila, Harabhanga of Gangni upazila of Meherpur. Ghiyas, son of Azgar Ali of the village, Meskat Ali Molla, son of deceased Sher Ali Molla of the same village, Sohel son of Noor Mohammad Biswas of Salimpur village of Daulatpur upazila of the same village, Wasim Reza son of Kalam Hossain of the same village and Zakir Hossain son of deceased Lalon Sheikh of Chaudhas upazila road of Kushtia Sadar upazila.<\/p>\n<p>The acquitted are Rabiul Islam Bobby, son of Abdul Majid of Barita village of Mirpur upazila of Kushtia, Nurul Islam, son of deceased Abdul Khalek Molla of the same village and Enamul Haque Inu son of Fazlul Haque of Kazipur village of Daulatpur upazila.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nAccording to sources, on July 12, 2009, Firoz Ahmed, son of Delbar Hossain of Bari, Mirpur Upazila, was killed by the accused after abducting him, and Kajol's father, Delbar, filed a case in Mirpur police station.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the investigation of the case, the police filed an investigation report against the accused on April 1, 2013. After the evidence, the court fixed March 24 as the date of the announcement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The court's Public Prosecutor (PP) Anup Kumar Nandi said that the murder case was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment for eight accused.
