\n\u2018The government has taken initiatives to formulate policies to protect the culture of the country and the OTT platforms.\u2019 This was said by the Minister of Information and Broadcasting. Hasan Mahmud.<\/p>\n
He said this while interacting with the participants of the OTT platform in the meeting room of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the Secretariat on Monday (March 14).<\/p>\n
The stakeholders also applauded the government's initiative in their speeches, which was informed in the press release sent by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.<\/p>\n
The minister said, \u2018The main purpose of making this policy is that nothing conflicts with our culture, tradition, culture and values should not go to OTT and our society and the new generation. Another purpose is to not upload anything that can lead astray, and the protection of the country's platforms from the invasion of foreign OTTs.<\/p>\n
OTT mentions no political poison. Hasan said, \u2018Why do some people drag it into politics! Surprisingly, Mirza Fakhrul Sahib has shot the OTT platform with social media and media.<\/p>\n
The general secretary of the party - who has fulfilled the duties of the minister - I am ashamed to see that he shot them. It is not appropriate to come out of politics in everything.\u2019<\/p>\n
Addressing the stakeholders of the OTT, the minister said, \u2018Thank you, you have supported our initiative. A few OTTs have started working and are doing well.This is the platform.<\/p>\n
It is not possible to arrange the sensor by looking at each content. That's why we are making policies in consultation with the stakeholders.\u2019<\/p>\n
Dr Natyakar Sangh president SM Haroon Or Rashid said, \u2018What I am writing is my art-culture, my history. Historical inheritance, tradition and sense of virtue are the source of the policy.\u2019<\/p>\n
television Sajjad Hossain Dodul, vice president of and digital producers\u2018 association, said, \u2019OTT needs a policy, it is being met by the information and broadcasting minister. Because professional jargon discipline is very necessary.\"<\/p>\n
Directors Guild General Secretary SM Kamruzzaman Sagar said, \u2018OTT is not a chance for politics. It is a medium of modern technology entertainment. I myself and the organization have participated in the work of making the policy rigging.\"<\/p>\n
\u2018No matter what one thinks, there is no policy - it is unanswerable. Of course it has its own origin,\u2019 said filmmaker, director and lyricist and director's guild member SA Haque Alik.<\/p>\n
Telepab member and filmmaker Sardar Sanitat Hossain expressed hope that the government's cooperation will continue to further develop the OTT platform under the policy.<\/p>\n
