Highlighting the activities and progress of Bangladesh in the technology sector, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that in the midst of this progress, Bangladesh is now making its own way in the economy of global knowledge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Thursday (January 19) in the afternoon at a local leader's policy meeting on Jobs at a hotel in Davos, Switzerland, he said this while speaking as a special guest. The Prime Minister has been in Switzerland on a five-day visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF).<\/p>\n

Discussions, Sheikh Hasina said, \"The welfare of technology is improving, it is becoming easier. In this age of global, we have to ensure that everyone is the benefit of this positive change in the world. This journey, we must keep a hollow technology so that technology does not mean that technology will limit the peace, stability and development of people.\"<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister highlighted the government's vision 2021 and mega vision 2041 to make Bangladesh a developed and prosperous country. Despite many challenges, we are going to implement the determination of \u2018Digital Bangladesh\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want millions of our young people to develop their talents by mastering modern technology and technological knowledge. Our goal is to bridge our knowledge and technological gap with the society and the outside world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to the possibilities of technology and youth, the Prime Minister said that the next 3 decades will be a part of the population of Bangladesh in the next 3 decades. Now a third of our population is in 10-24 years. Our people can easily acquire any technology and accept it with it. This is making our way forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow the list of the best mobile user population in the world is our population tenth. More than 60 million people are online, most of them are smartphone users.\u201d<\/p>\n

In terms of strategy, Bangladesh is now working towards technology and related issues, the Prime Minister said, now our education is There is a high-quality roadmap on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for which the focus is on ICT, ICT education for education. Our aim is to improve our children's skills and make them as people who are in tune with their times.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister also mentioned the multimedia classroom in the secondary level to make the generation tech-friendly and also highlighted the digital platform \u2018Teacher's Portal' for teachers.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister said, \u2018We are now creating an e-education platform called \u2019Muktpath'. Through this platform, Bangladeshis can increase their skills and create jobs, which is an attempt to make our youth an important part of this work-oriented world.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister highlighted the various steps taken by his government to improve manpower skills in all areas, he said, \"Our main aim is to make our youth self-reliant through ICT.\"<\/p>\n

\u201cBangladesh is one of the most important sectors of IT freelancers working in the world. We are now emphasizing on raising women freelancers. We are also emphasizing on creating remote and underprivileged areas of freelancers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister mentioned that Deshjuz also has 4500 digital centers, he said, as a result, every alley in Bangladesh is now connected to each other. Service has reached the people of Deergo. Both human money and labor are living, new areas of work have been created.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the education, health and technological development at the grassroots level, Sheikh Hasina said, \u2018We are encouraging the self-reliant 'On-Stop Service' which has created more than 10,000 entrepreneurs in the country, half of whom are women.<\/p>\n

\u2018This is how Bangladesh is now making its own way in the economy of global knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister called on global knowledge and business related parties, he said.,<\/p>\n

We will certainly welcome you to bring creativity and innovation to our millions of young people, and if we do so, we will surely be \u2018community\u2019.<\/p>\n
