In the light of the decision of the government to reduce the food stock, the government has stopped the rice distribution program OMS at the price of Tk 10 in the open market of the allocation among the poor in Lakshipur along with the whole country.<\/p>\n
According to the district food inspector office, 40 kg of rice was sold at the rate of 4,270 97 metric tons of rice at Tk 10 kg in 3 months in September, October and November 3 in 30 kg of rice among 47 thousand 744 poor people of the district through 30 kg of rice dealers.
\nAlso, the government distributed 15 kg of rice and 17 taka 5 kg of flour at the rate of 15 taka per kg among 743 4th class government employees.
\nOnly Sadar Upazila of 5 upazilas of the district, 743, this allotted rice was distributed among 4th grade government employees.
\nHowever, it is known that the number of 4th class government employees is less in other upazilas and the government is bound to be more than the government's 4th class government employees, which is more than the price of the dealer, and the 4th class government employees of those upazilas are deprived of the government's benefits.
\nThose concerned know that the food stocks will be reduced during the time of the crisis, the government has been forced to stop this program for the time being.<\/p>\n
