The currency note of Rs 5 is preferred in purple The government has reprinted using a few colors and it will be issued from the Motijheel office of Bangladesh Bank on 5th January. The note will be available at other offices of Bangladesh Bank later.<\/p>\n
This information was informed in a press release of the Ministry of Finance on Monday.<\/p>\n
The new currency note of Rs 5, signed by Finance Department Senior Secretary Mahbub Ahmed, has been printed in light purple, with the image of the Bangladesh National Memorial and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the back and the Kusumba Mosque in Naogaon.<\/p>\n
The newly printed note has the writing of the \u2018Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh\u2019 on the upper part of the back and the national symbol of Bangladesh on the right side. The size, watermark, design and other safety characteristics of the note are similar to the current notes.<\/p>\n
Along with the newly printed notes, the current Rs 5 notes and metal coins will also be in operation.<\/p>\n
It is noted that it was a bank note before the 5 rupee note signed by the finance secretary in June 2016. But for the first time on June 5, 5 rupee notes were released as a government note.<\/p>\n
Before this, on November 21, 2015, President Md. Abdul Hamid agreed to the proposal to convert five taka from bank notes to government notes, and the government started printing new five rupee notes under the signature of Finance Secretary Mahbub Ahmed.<\/p>\n
The new bank note has \u2018Bangladesh Bank\u2019 written in three places. In the front part, Bengali once in the back, once in Bengali and once in English.<\/p>\n
In addition, the number of money in the front is written with the amount of money, which is written in the market, which is in the notes of the 5 taka to 1000 taka notes in the market.
