cover ;; <\/strong>The government said that the Cabinet is being raised on Monday (October 12) of the Amended Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act, 2000 to punish the death penalty for rape.<\/p>\n

On Sunday (October 11), the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and the Ministry of Women and Child Poisons confirmed this information.<\/p>\n

Law Minister Anisul Haque had earlier learned that after the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the law was amended to take the initiative to amend the punishment of rape and death.<\/p>\n

State Minister for Women and Child Affairs Fazilatun Nessa Indira said that the government is active in preventing and remedying rape and the maximum punishment for the rapist will be death penalty.<\/p>\n

Basically, section 9(1) of the Act is being changed, an official of the Ministry of Women and Children poisoning said that the punishment for rape of this section will be life imprisonment from life imprisonment.<\/p>\n
